'Keeping Your Website Project On Budget'
It's #WebflowWednesday and we're back with another Webflow tip: ⭐ Use dynamic viewport units for mobile designs ⭐
In March Webflow released additional viewport units to the designer (see the release notes here - https://buff.ly/40W5uOM ) including:
❇️ DVH — relative to the dynamic viewport height
❇️ DVW — relative to the dynamic viewport width
❇️ SVH — relative to the small viewport height
❇️ SVW — relative to the small viewport width
❇️ LVH — relative to the large viewport height
❇️ LVW — relative to the large viewport width
Viewport units allow you to ensure that toolbars on mobile devices don't cut off fixed elements. As new devices and screen sizes are developed, DVW units can help ensure that websites and web applications continue to look and function well, without requiring constant redesign or updates.

Working with Gigantic was inspiring and impactful. Given the nature and timeline of this project, our company needed a collaborative and nimble partner—not just one who lists those qualities as bullet points in a capabilities presentation, but a partner who actually exhibits them day in and day out. Gigantic worked with our team to create and implement design decisions in real-time and, like any true partner, asked great questions and challenged us which has only benefited our company as a whole.
